Collaborations

WebInfo allows you to specify collaborations, that is you may select the users that you wish to share contacts or info records . When you create an info or contact record, you may specify that the record has a "visibility" attribute. These attribute may be

  • Private - the record may be "searched" only by yourself
  • Public - the record may be "searched" by yourself or any of the users that you have designated as a collaborator

WebInfo on the "Manage Collaborations" screen shows you your current collaborations, and gives you the option to review or delete a collaboration.

Webinfo allows you to "Add Collaboration". You can search users based upon any substring within the "user name" field. From the users that are found by the search, you can choose to add a selected user to your collaborations.

WebInfo on the "Other Collaborations" screen shows other users that have you as a collaborator, and gives you the option to review the users information.

Once you have specified a user as a collaborator, that user may now search through your public info or contact records as if these records were his own records. But this user will not be able to edit or delete these records, only view the data in the records
